A pretty drink with bourbon and Beaujolais and lots of fancy fruit. The concept of this cocktail reminded me of the word BOUJEE which is a mutation of the word BOURGIE: Pronounced “Boo-zhee.” It’s taken from the word Bourgeois which describes someone who is middle class aspiring to be upper class. The word doesn’t quite have the derogatory connotation it used to, not since the hip-hopper Migos and rapper Lil Uzi Vert made it cool in their 2016 release, “Bad and Boujee.” See below. If you are faint of heart, over the age of 18, or have attended any sort of religious services in the past decade, I do not advise listening to this song much less watching the music video. Just take my word for it that it made being Boojie bad.
Directions
